My heart is so full of gratitude
for the selfless love that you have given me.
Through your pain
I was gifted to come into this world
as your child.
You gave my soul a vehicle
in which to seek its destiny.
To fulfill its tikun and return
in purity to HaShem.
Sixty years have passed
since that day when you welcomed me into your heart.
Caressed me with loving arms.
Nourished and tended to all my needs.
Such un-conditional love,
that flowed from your soul to mine,
is a treasure that only a mother like you can give.
Now it is my turn to give back
the care and support that you gave as
I traveled through life’s challenges.
